Malton Roman Festival: Best pictures as Yorkshire market town's historic roots celebrated

Live demonstrations, marches and weapons demonstrations were all part of a bumper festival in Malton this weekend – celebrating the market town’s historic roots.

Malton Museum's Roman Festival, held on Saturday, saw re-enactments and cavalry and parades, with shield wielding and sword decorating and more.
