I’ve been listening to: I love a bit of Fleetwood Mac in the mornings so I have been plugging in my headphones before work each day.

On TV, I’ve been watching: The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies about the retired schoolteacher who was hounded by the media after he was questioned by police following the murder of Jo Yeates. Jason Watkins gave a brilliant performance as Jeffries. In fact it was one of the best biographical performances I have seen.

The last film I saw was: The Big Short. It’s not only entertaining, but it’s also an education in why the banks got it so wrong during America’s sub-prime housing crash. I would fully recommend it.

The live performance I’d recommend is: If you are going down to London at any point go and see Hangmen at the Wyndham’s Theatre. It’s a black comedy set in a smoky Manchester pub about a retired executioner. It’s a proper show and David Morrissey is brilliant as Harry.

My next box set will be: The next series of The Walking Dead probably, I’m trying to catch up with my girlfriend who is fully up to date. I’m a bit of a box set binge watcher, so I’m looking forward to the next season of Ray Donovan about a Hollywood ‘fixer’ and the new series of crime drama Better Call Saul.
