Video - Jeff Legue looking to exit Sheffield Steelers on perfect high
After almost nine seasons at the South Yorkshire club, the 34-year-old Canadian forward is hanging up his skates to return home to Ontario with his family.
It has been a far from easy decision but Legue admits he is looking forward to getting his weekends back and starting the next chapter of his life.

The last of those regular season titles came on Sunday when a 3-1 win at Fife Flyers ensured the Steelers lifted the trophy after edging out runners-up Cardiff Devils by two points.
Now Paul Thompson’s team are targeting the double in the play-offs, beginning with a first round tie against his former club Coventry Blaze this weekend.
Legue would love nothing more than to add another piece of silverware to his collection before leaving a city he has made his home for the last nine years.

“It was great to finish the season the way we did in Fife, in the last match of the campaign.
“It’s time I went home, the family in Canada is growing and I want to be a part of that. I want my family to grow as well to so we need to go and settle down.
“I will miss Sheffield and the Steelers every minute I’m away though.
“I’ve had too many great memories to pick out any one thing over another and it would be great if we can add another in the next two weeks.”
