Alistair Brownlee, the double Olympic champion, has backed The Yorkshire Post for its well-balanced opinions and its integrity.

The 32-year-old triathlete, one of this county’s greatest ever athletes, has added his endorsement to the level of trust and quality news that the The Yorkshire Post is known for.

“But we are definitely known for our love of straightforward, blunt opinions.

“I think in the world we live in today our news is often sensationalised and polarised into over-simplified bite-sized snippets.
