Winger Hodgson ends Costin's record

David Hodgson has finally broken Brandon Costin's seven-year record to become Huddersfield's highest try-scorer in a Super League season.

The first of his double against Leeds on Friday saw the winger reach 20 touchdowns, passing Costin's previous best of 19 in 2003.

Ex-Halifax winger Hodgson, who has also scored four Super League hat-tricks this season, had gone three games without scoring before going over at Headingley in the 21-20 defeat and is on course for his most prolific campaign to date.
