Video: James Webster blessed with influx of players on Hull KR return
He takes winless Rovers to bottom-placed Huddersfield Giants on Sunday having returned to the club this week until the end of the season following Chris Chester’s sacking.
Webster, the former Wakefield Trinity chief who helped Rovers win promotion to Super League in 2006, took training fully for the first time today.

Hide AdRavaged by injuries this term, he admits the depleted squad could look far healthier by the weekend with captain Terry Campese potentially ready to play for the first time in nine months after his knee reconstruction.
“We’ve quite a few that are in the running,” he said.
“We’ve a day off tomorrow so we want to see how people pull up after that but Campese has done some contact, Albert Kelly has trained this week and Shaun Lunt, too, as has Graeme Horne.
“We’ve John Boudebza and James Green back from bans so we’re talking five or six that might be ready.
“Friday will be our decision day. If they can get through training Friday we’ll finish that and then name our 19 and see how we go.

Hide Ad“I don’t expect them all of them to be back but all have trained in a certain capacity.
“With Campese they have taken things slowly and the decision is probably up to himself along with the medical staff.
“It’s the same with Kelly; if they are able to get through the week and can play well, I’ll leave that decision to them.”
