Fallen stock collection gets industry support

FARMERS have given a unanimous thumbs-up to their fallen stock collector.

A year-long quality control assessment programme was run via the internet by The National Fallen Stock CIC (NFSCo) – the organisation that facilitates the efficient removal of dead animals from farms.

Over the year farmers filled in an online or postal survey form, questioning them on the efficiency with which their collector dealt with the removal. More than 5,000 questionnaires were returned which revealed farmers said they were happy with over 98 per cent of collections.

The few problems that arose were dealt with quickly.
