Bradford 17 Batley 16: Haggerty leaves it late as Bulls beat Bulldogs
Kurt Haggerty’s late drop goal secured a dramatic 17-16 win over the Bulldogs which ended their opponents’ five-match winning run.
Two early tries from James Clare gave the Bulls an 8-0 lead but John Kear’s men turned around 10-8 up at the break after tries from Cain Southernwood and Chris Ulugia, while Pat Walker’s penalty extended their lead to 12-8.

Hide AdBradford regained the lead through Jay Pitts’ try, which was converted by Haggerty, who also kicked a penalty to make it 16-12 before Southernwood grabbed his second to set up a tense finish.

Rhodri Lloyd scored Swinton’s only first-half try and added another on the hour before Connor Dwyer scored the match-winner 11 minutes from the end, with Chris Atkin kicking his fifth goal.
Leigh ran in nine tries in their 54-12 victory over Workington to extend their unbeaten run to 17 matches.
