Sheffield Steelers march on after dampening Coventry Blaze

Sheffield Steelers staged a come-from-behind vcitory to strengthen their position at the head of the 2021 Elite Series standings on Tuesday night.

Steelers won 6-4 against Coventry Blaze despite having fallen 2-0 down at the end of the first period.

Tanner Eberle, Jonathan Phillips and Sam Jones put Steelers 3-2 up before Blaze hit back to level.

However, goals from Sondre Olden and Jason Hewitt put Sheffield back in command and although Blaze threatened with a late goal, Brendan Connolly found the empty net to seal a fifth win in six games for the Steelers.
