FT: York City 0-1 Fleetwood Town

York City suffered a narrow defeat to runaway leaders Fleetwood Town in the Blue Square Premier.

After holding out for so long against Fleetwood, York fell behind 17 minutes from full-time as Richard Brodie - a striker who made his name at Bootham Crescent - returned to score the winner for the Lancashire side.

Fleetwood are bound for the Football League as champions but Gary Mills’s York hope to join them via the play-offs.
