York City reveal retained and released list
YORK CITY have released seven players in the wake of their Blue Square Premier play-off final defeat to Oxford United.
Richard Pacquette, Josh Mimms, Jamie Clarke, Kevin Gall, Alan O'Hare, Simon Russell and Craig Nelthorpe have all been told to find new clubs, while a further six youth players have also left Bootham Crescent.
Manager Martin Foyle has offered new contracts to Ben Purkiss, Levi Mackin and Luke Graham, while 11 players - including top scorer Richard Brodie - are all contracted to the club for next season.
