Simon Weaver tells Harrogate Town wide boys Sam Folarin and Josh Coley to keep the excitement coming

Simon Weaver says wingers Josh Coley and Sam Folarin have brought new excitement to Harrogate Town.

Folarin made his debut in Tuesday's defeat to Salford City after joining from Middlesbrough on deadline day. Coley, on loan from Exeter City, was making only his second appearance.

So whilst a fifth straight defeat was hard to take, Weaver sees cause for optimism ahead of Saturday's trip to Stockport County.

"The lads have settled in seamlessly and they've added excitement, pace and real energy to the group," reflected the manager. "They played with personality.

"We want them to keep enjoying it because we certainly enjoyed their performances. We lost in the last minute but nobody's too deflated because we reflected on a very positive performance."

Reinforcements are on the way in George Thompson and Josh Falkingham – but not just yet.

"Tommo should be miles off it but with his dedication he's a few weeks off," explained Weaver. "Josh Falkingham is stepping up his training but I'd anticipate it's another couple of weeks.”
