Izzy Brown: Arguably Wednesday’s best player since the season kicked off. The new creative force in the Owls midfield. Missed a great headed chance late on. 8

Massimo Luongo: Does the ‘dirty work’ in midfield, the Australian is an integral part of this Owls team. 7

Kadeem Harris: His pace troubled Watford all afternoon, and chipped in with his defensive share too as a wing-back. 7

Jordan Rhodes: Worked hard and looks far happier now this season. Attempted a long-range lob in the first half, but no real clear-cut chances. 7

Josh Windass: Was denied what looked a blatant penalty in the first half, and was also thwarted by Ben Foster after a fine break.

Substitutes

Adam Reach (Windass 85): Was thrown up front late on, but looks awkward playing as a striker.
