Match Centre: Rotherham 0-0 Bury

CAPTAIN Ryan Cresswell returned after a three-month injury lay-off to face former club Bury at the Don Valley Stadium as the sides battled out a 0-0 draw.

He replaced thigh victim Nick Fenton in the heart of the defence as the Millers welcomed back top scorer Adam Le Fondre, who had been rested in the midweek defeat at Bradford City.

Liam Henderson dropped to the bench as Le Fondre resumed his partnership with Ryan Taylor.

Dale Tonge continued at right-back, having replaced dead leg victim Danny Coid in the second half at Valley Parade.

Former Millers manager Alan Knill named the same second-placed Bury side that had defeated Morecambe in midweek.

Promotion challengers Rotherham and Bury played out a goalless draw at the Don Valley Stadium.

In a quiet first half, Ryan Taylor and Johnny Mullins went close for the home side, while Bury’s Kyle Bennett saw his left-foot shot go just wide.
