Harley extends his Rotherham United stay

ROTHERHAM United have extended Jon Harley’s loan until the new year.

The left-back’s original one-month spell from Notts County expired after last weekend’s victory over Aldershot, but he will now stay at Don Valley until January 2.

“It was something that I wanted to do after speaking with the manager last week, and fortunately the two clubs have agreed to it,” Harley said.

Manager Andy Scott added: “We have extended the loan until January, which I am delighted about. He goes about his business very well and he is a terrific pro. He has fit in seamlessly really.”

Harley is ineligible to play in the Millers’ FA Cup trip to Barrow this weekend.
