Jermaine Johnson has suffered a hamstring strain and misses the trip to Southport but could be back sooner than expected for Alan Irvine.

Tommy Miller trained on Fruday after missing the midweek defeat to Huddersfield Town with a thigh injury while Jon Otsemobor returns after a three-match ban.
