Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch provides Luis Sinisterra injury update ahead of crunch Bournemouth clash

Jesse Marsch hopes to get star winger Luis Sinisterra back in training this week ahead of Leeds United’s crunch Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

The Whites climbed out of the relegation zone with a dramatic 2-1 win over Liverpool on Saturday night and are now preparing for a key fixture against Bournemouth at Elland Road this weekend.

Sinsterra missed the trip to Anfield with a foot injury but Marsch hopes the Colombian will recover in time to face the Cherries.

"We hope that he will be in training this week, we hope it will not be too bad,” said Marsch after Leeds’ win over Liverpool.

"It is a little sprain in his foot. He was too sore yesterday but the swelling has gone down each day and hopefully we can get him on the pitch this week.”

Rodrigo, Tyler Adams and Liam Cooper had all been injury doubts to feature for Leeds against the Reds but the trio all played a key role as Marsch’s side picked up their first win in nine Premier League games.
