YORKSHIRE Post football writer Leon Wobschall caught up with manager Brian McDermott today to talk all things Leeds United.

Brian McDermott admires the Championship trophy.

The pair chatted as the Championship trophy stopped off at the club’s Thorp Arch training ground.

The trophy visit was organised through Football League sponsor Sky Bet which is also Leeds United’s official betting partner for the 2013/14 season.

Speaking about the event, Sky Bet managing director, Richard Flint, said: “It was great to be able to bring the Sky Bet Championship Trophy to the Leeds United training ground, to give staff a great opportunity to get up close to the silverware that they’re hoping will be making its way across to Elland Road at the end of the season.

Sky Bet is based on Wellington Place in Leeds and employs more than 500 people.
