Team news: Alex Mowatt has a bruised toe and is unlikely to feature for Leeds, while Huddersfiel will definitely be without James Vaughan after he limped out of last week’s defeat at Middlesbrough. Joel Lynch should be okay despite picking up a knock in midweek and Adam Hammill could win a recall to the bench.

Middlesbrough v Brentford

Team news: Loanee Ryan Fredericks is set to step in at right-back for Damia, out for six months after damaging anterior cruciate ligaments. Mustapha Carayol and Rhys Williams are still sidelined.

Rotherham United v Charlton Athletic

Team news: Richard Wood is out following knee surgery to join Mark Bradley and Rob Milsom on the sidelines. Jordan Bowery is pushing for a starting role after scoring in each of the last two games from the bench.

Sheffield Wednesday v Reading

Team news: Owls’ Roysten Drenthe cannot play against his parent club, Reading. On-loan Hallam Hope is set to return as a substitute.

Colchester United v Bradford City

Team news: James Hanson will once again be missing for the Bantams with the thigh injury he suffered during the warm-up at MK Dons in midweek. Andrew Davies remains on the sidelines along with Matty Dolan but James Meredith has recovered from a chest infection.
