Huddersfield Town earned a draw to equal Nottingham Forest’s long-standing 42-game unbeaten run in a busy weekend of football.

Town drew 1-1 with Walsall in League One to equal the record set by Brian Clough’s men.

Hull lost out to West Ham in a big promotion battle in the Championship while Barnsley and Leeds play on Sunday.

In League One, Sheffield Wednesday drew 0-0 with Brentford, Bradford lost to Cheltenham in League Two and in the Blue Square Bet Premier, York City held league leaders Wrexham 0-0.

Sam Baldock (49) broke deadlock for Hammers, before Collison added a second.

FT Ipswich Town 2 Doncaster Rovers 3

Diouf opened his Rovers account with a brace on 18 and 39 minutes, in between Billy Sharp (24) made it 2-0. Josh Carson (53) replied for Town, before Michael Chopra added a stoppage-time second.

League One

FT Huddersfield Town 1 Walsall 1

Novak broke deadlock on 67 minutes, but Paterson (79) equalised for the Saddlers.

FT Sheffield Wednesday 0 Brentford 0

The Owls were held to a scoreless draw at Hillsborough.

FT Stevenage Borough 2 Sheffield United 1

Roberts (42) put hosts in front, before Ched Evans (69) equalised. Laird grabbed an 82nd minute winner.

Bradford City 0 Cheltenham 1

Mohamed (8) gave the visitors all three points.

Lewis Grabban (14) put Millers ahead, before Holroyd (41) doubled advantage.

Leaders Wrexham were held to a scoreless draw at the Minstermen.

Leicester City v Leeds United (Sunday 3pm)

Team news: Alex McCarthy will go straight into the starting XI in place of Paul Rachubka following his arrival on loan from Reading. Tom Lees is suspended so Andy O’Brien is likely to partner Paddy Kisnorbo in defence due to Darren O’Dea being unlikely to recover from the head injury that ruled the on-loan defender against Blackpool on Wednesday.
