Ex-Leeds star Danny Rose dismissed in England racism fracas
England’s 1-0 second-leg victory, which saw them progress 2-0 on aggregate to the next year’s finals, was marred by a series of incidents following the game, which saw players, including Rose, suffer racist abuse and come under attack from Serbian fans who were throwing stones, coins and seats.
Missle-throwing also took place during the game with both England players and coaches suffering a great deal of provocation on a tempestuous evening, which saw Leeds’ defender Tom Lees come on as a second-half sub for Bolton’s Marvin Sordell on 62 minutes for Stuart Pearce’s side.

Spurs defender Rose, 22, on loan at Premiership rivals Sunderland, was sent off just after the final whistle after reacting angrily to monkey chants from the crowd.
Scuffles also broke out as supporters invaded the pitch moments after Connor Wickham’s injury time goal booked England’s place in the Euro 2013 tournament - the prelude to missiles being thrown and both rival sets of players confronting each other amid fractious scenes.
England U21 manager Pearce said: ‘’A lot is happening in our country with regard to stamping out racism and I am very proud of the reaction of our players towards the end.

On the domestic front, Huddersfield Town boss Simon Grayson is backing loan striker Jimmy Spencer to be a success at Brentford after completing an initial one-month loan move to the Bees.
The Leeds-born frontman, 20, a regular on the bench for Town this term, is expected to make his debut in Saturday’s clash against Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Grayson said: “We’ve looked at the squad and although Jimmy has been on the bench we have options available.
“This move allows him to get some games at the top end of a good division in League I and it’s a good opportunity for him.
“I know Uwe Rosler really well and his team plays in a certain way, so it’s all part of Jimmy’s development.

Meanwhile, James Chester could bolster Hull boss Steve Bruce’s defensive options by returning to the first-team squad after missing the Tigers’ last two matches with a hamstring injury.
Bruce is to monitor the fitness of fellow defenders Joe Dudgeon and Alex Bruce ahead of Saturday’s home encounter with Paul Jewell’s Ipswich Town.
Bradford City have been handed an injury boost with midfield man Ritchie Jones completing ninety minutes for the first time this season in last night’s 7-0 reserve victory at Mansfield Town, which saw Nick Wright fire a hat-trick.
