Half term report: Rotherham United

Alan Wheldon, of Dinnington.

We started off the season very well under former manager Mark Robins and the decision to sell Reuben Reid and sign Adam Le Fondre was certainly a good bit of business. However, the midfield still seemed a bit short on quality and that needed to be addressed. When Robins left and Ronnie Moore came back to the club we started OK but we seemed to lose our way a little bit in the month of October.

Now we are settling down again and starting to play some good football. Ronnie has tried to sort out the midfield problem with the signing of Gary Roberts who looks a good signing. Maybe one or two signings in January will see us win promotion – which is what we all want.
