Adams chases 'experience' after first Sheffield United signing
MICKY ADAMS has vowed to bring in "strength and experience" to bolster the Blades' fight for Championship survival.
Yesterday they signed Chelsea's Danny Philliskirk but it seems the 19-year-old will spend his month-long loan deal with the development squad at Bramall Lane rather than the first team.
Adams said: "There will be more young players coming into the club shortly but I stress that, like Danny, they are development squad players who were lined up to come in before I was appointed.
"They are clearly part of the longer term strategy of the club and not the immediate future.
"For that, I am looking for a bit more strength and experience to go straight into the side."
