Favourites tag does not sit well with Powel

FEATHERSTONE ROVERS coach Daryl Powell is playing down talk of his side being one of the Northern Rail Cup favourites.

They begin their quest for the trophy when Championship rivals Sheffield Eagles arrive at the Bigfellas Stadium tomorrow.

Powell should have Ireland World Cup star Liam Finn, Papua New Guinean recruit Jessie Joe Parker and Tony Tonks all available after they were doubts for last week's postponed opener with Hunslet.

But Powell insisted: "We've got to make sure we don't come unstuck."
