Cobb helps Treeton coast to eighth crown

Nearest rivals Whitley Hall overhauled Wickersley’s 230 at Baxter Field – Haider Jahangir making 47 and Jordan Lowe 42 as Jim Tasker claimed 5-9 and Jaco Castle 4-60 for Whitley.

Elsecar, in third place, entertained Coal Aston, who laid down a 203 challenge, thanks to opener Liam Johnson cracking 20 fours in his knock of 103.
Andy Ivill bagged 5-56 and Jason Meadows 3-40 for Elsecar, who failed with the bat and fell for 145, James Fell hitting 43 as Reece Shutt took 5-81 and Laurence Browse 3-38.
Hallam toppled Tickhill for 102, with three cheap wickets each for Humphrey Emery and Mark Williams, and eased to a nine-wicket win, opener Vaidik Raj making 46.
