Cardiff City v Hull City: Bellamy brings added dangers, warns Pearson

Championship: HULL CITY manager Nigel Pearson believes Craig Bellamy has swelled Cardiff City's belief that reaching the Premier League is an attainable goal.

The signing of the Welsh international last month has been followed by the Bluebirds claiming back-to-back wins in the Championship to move up to second in the table.

Tigers manager Pearson admits his side will be facing one of the best in the division.

He said: "It is a good squad of players. They have responded very well to the disappointments of last season.

"Having progressed to the play-off final they would have been most people's favourites but they have made great strides over a period of time with Dave Jones in charge.

"They have come back and got off to a good start and added some good players to their squad. In particular Craig Bellamy, who has given them a high profile but also a little bit more belief in themselves."
