Yobs hunted after graffiti attacks

GRAFFITI yobs have vandalised a car and a number of buildings across Thirsk in a wave of attacks on the town.

Residents reported two incidents in one day including the Parochial Hall in Sowerby being defaced, while a car in nearby South Terrace was also damaged after a line of paint was sprayed down its side.

The next day, blue paint was found sprayed on to the wall of a footpath which runs alongside Cod Beck and under the road bridge which runs over the beck, while the day after, three men were seen to spray paint on to a wall on Chapel Street, before making off in the direction of Town End.
