In typical English fashion - and much like this week so far - the weather still won't make its mind up.

Forecasters at the Met Office have said the weather will be changeable again this weekend, with sun followed by heavy showers. That won't be news to the ears of people looking to spend their weekend in the beer garden - and neither will the temperatures which will dropping to the low single figures in the evenings.

However, when the sun is out and if you can find the right suntrap, it will feel warm in places with temperatures reaching 11 °C

The Met Office forecast for the next few days says: "The showers will steadily die away during this evening (Apr 30) to leave a mainly dry night across the region with a touch of frost developing by dawn. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

"Saturday: Similar to Friday with showers forming during the morning. These slow moving and heavy at times during the afternoon. Some sunny spells, mainly near the coasts again. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

"Showers on Sunday again. Bright on Monday at first, but turning cloudier with widespread rain and strong winds. Improving overnight with intermittent rain by Tuesday, sunny spells and lighter winds."
