Volunteers wanted by charity offering support to breast cancer patients
The Haven, in Leeds city centre, is looking for 20 more people to help out in kitchen, reception, gardening, delivery and fund-raising duties.
Fund-raising manager Liz Barran said: “Becoming a volunteer with a charity is a rewarding New Year’s resolution and The Haven welcomes those with a variety of skills and strengths to get involved.

Volunteer Adele Oates said: “I’ve got so much out of working with The Haven. It’s great to meet new people, develop new skills and give something back.”
More than 1,200 people have been given support at the charity in Leeds since it opened in 2008.
The national organisation, which has centres in Leeds, London and Hereford, is the only breast cancer charity to provide one-to-one support to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by breast cancer.
