The event was an opportunity for the community group which runs Bramley Baths in Leeds to show visitors how it has changed since it took over from Leeds City Council in January.

The swimmers’ performance was accompanied by recordings of memories of the baths from members of the Bramley Elderly Action Group. Manager Danny Whiteley said: “It’s completely unique to Bramley Baths and one of the new ideas we’ve been experimenting with here – to make sure Bramley Baths continues to be a place where people live their lives, make friends and spend time being happy and healthy.”
