TV’s Biggest Loser looking to pound streets for charity

NOT content with just one challenge, “Biggest Loser” Aaron Howlett is now preparing for the first-ever Hull Marathon – as well as the London Marathon two weeks later, and a walk from John O’Groats to Land’s End and back in June – in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Mr Howlett, from Hull, lost 10 stone in 19 weeks to win television programme The Biggest Loser UK.

Since then he has taken part in a number of marathons for charity, and also appears as a weight loss mentor on Jeremy Kyle’s television show.

His first race of the year will be the inaugural Hull Marathon on Sunday, April 8.

The 35-year-old said: “I wanted to do something that would help the charity that supports people and children living with cystic fibrosis.

“I know that the CF Trust funds research to find a treatment or cure that could make CF sufferers life so much better and hopefully longer.

“I am hoping that, with my efforts, I will attract support and help to raise awareness and funds.

Mr Howlett is also seeking people to join him in his epic walk.
