Two motorcyclists die in Yorkshire crash

They died as a result of a collision at 11.50am.

Two Suzuki motorcycles, who were travelling in opposite directions, collided on the B1257 between Malton and Amotherby.

The victims are a man in his 30s from East Yorkshire and a man aged in his 60s, also from East Yorkshire.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who saw the incident or the events leading up to it to contact them on 101, select option 2 and ask for the Major Collision Investigation Team.

The road was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the collision.
