Suspected hare coursers abandon car after wrecking farmer's field
An estate car has been abandoned in a Yorkshire field by suspected hare coursers.
The driver caused significant damage to a farmer's land by churning up the field before leaving the scene in the village of Gateforth, near Selby.
North Yorkshire Police's rural taskforce team found the abandoned vehicle, which is not registered or insured, and are currently trying to trace the offenders
Hunting wild hares with dogs is illegal.
