Supporters applaud tragic football fan
SUPPORTERS tonight paid tribute to a tragic Leeds United fan with a minute’s applause.
The crowd at this evening’s Leeds United versus Blackburn Rovers took part in the gesture in memory of Skye Thompson, a 17-year-old Leeds season ticket holder.
She died after suffering a bleed on the brain at her home in Sheffield.
Skye’s heartbroken family had asked fans to remember her with a minute’s applause in the 17th minute of the match. Blackburn fans also took part in the tribute.
