Students’ new designs on gallery
Students from Leeds Metropolitan University have explored potential future uses for the historic Upper Mills, which stands just metres away from the art gallery on the banks of the River Calder.
The historical significance of the former 18th century watermill has protected it from demolition, but without funding and a sustainable new purpose its future remains uncertain.
