Six reasons to celebrate tomorrow
Valentine's Day is special for millions of romantics all over the world. But for one South Yorkshire family, February 14 is particularly memorable.
Tomorrow, Alan Boreham won't just be buying his wife a bunch of flowers, as it's also Valerie Boreham's 75th birthday. And when friends and family gather for the party, they will toast the couple, who will also be celebrating the anniversary of their engagement 57 years ago. The Boreham's daughters Karen and Denise also married in a romantic double wedding on the special day 29 years ago and, on Valentine's Day 2008, Mrs Boreham, from Dronfield Woodhouse, had heart surgery following three heart attacks.
Mr Boreham, 77, said: "February 14 is very special to us because the day holds so many memories."
