Singer among Turner Prize shortlist
A woman known for singing through a PA system at a branch of Tesco has been shortlisted for this year's Turner Prize.
Susan Philipsz is one of four artists in the running for the controversial arts prize.
The Glasgow-born 44-year-old records herself singing pop and folk songs.

Hide AdThe others shortlisted are painter Dexter Dalwood, 49, artist Angela de la Cruz and the London-based Otolith Group – named after the part of the inner ear that senses gravity and orientation – of artists, Anjalika Sagar, 42, and Kodwo Eshun, 44.
