Sheffield to host party conference

SHEFFIELD is in line for a £1m economic boost after the Liberal Democrats announced they will host their spring conference in the city next year.

The event, to be held next March, will be the first major political conference to be held in the steel city, with Sheffield City Hall as the main venue.
