A green business initiative has been launched by an independent school near Leeds to allow students to understand the concept of environmental and corporate social responsibility.

Gateways School, in Harewood, will host a series of conferences for fifth- and sixth- form students at schools in the Leeds and Harrogate area. The first on March 11 focuses on money and the law with speakers Nigel Larkman, from Yorkshire Bank, and Paula Widdowson of Northern Foods.
