Robbers with knife and gun storm post office
Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery, which took place at about 9.40am on Monday.
Two men, both wearing motorbike helmets, reportedly went into the Parkhead Post Office, which is situated within a convenience store in Ecclesall Road South.

Hide AdA spokesman for South Yorkshire Police added: “The men made threats towards staff before leaving with a quantity of cash.
“Witnesses report seeing the men with a large knife, and what is believed to be a small handgun.
“The men were wearing black or dark coloured motorcycle clothing, and were wearing socks over their shoes.
“The men left the scene on a black motorcycle, travelling down Ecclesall Road towards the city centre before turning right on to Dobcroft Road, Millhouses.
“Nobody was injured during this incident.”

Hide AdTemporary Detective Sergeant Luke Kiely, the officer leading the investigation, said that enquiries were continuing in a bid to trace the two men responsible.
He added: “This robbery happened at a peak time on a busy road, and we would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the motorbike or the suspects.
“We’ve carried out detailed checks at the scene, and will continue our enquiries to trace the two men.”
