River Ouse: Body found in water by member of public as police release update on missing woman search
Officers searching for a missing person have recovered a body from the River Ouse in York.
The discovery was made yesterday afternoon (Monday 31 July 2023) by a member of the public.
The body has been identified as missing person Louise Brown and Louise’s next of kin have been informed.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We're not currently treating Louise’s death as suspicious.”
