Public views sought on academy plan
Representatives of the staff and governors at the 1,600 pupil school have met Aston Parish Council to discuss the potential move.
Treeton Parish Council is holding a public meeting next month to discuss the proposal. It will also be raised at the next Rotherham Council Rother Valley West Area Assembly, in Aston, in January.

The Government has invited all schools rated as outstanding to apply for academy status.
