Ukip man’s ‘pillock’ jibe branded ‘unprofessional’
A COUNCILLOR has defended calling a critic a “patronising pillock” on Facebook.
Keighley town councillor Samuel Fletcher posted the insult in an online conversation with Mark Pullen, an ex-Haworth parish councillor, who had earlier called Coun Fletcher a “good little boy” in a conversation about his decision to become an independent councillor whilst remaining in Ukip.
Coun Fletcher said “pillock” wasn’t a swear word.
Mr Pullen said: “I take offence at the term, coming from somebody who displays the characteristics shown in the definition of ‘pillock’ when it comes to social media etiquette.”
