Police swoop nets £9,000 drug haul
Police from a specialist drugs team in Kirklees recovered over £8,000 of suspected cocaine and more than £1,000 of cannabis at an address on Smiths Avenue, in Marsh, Huddersfield, yesterday.
The raid led to the arrest of a 42-year-old man on suspicion of possessing a class A controlled drug with intent to supply. He was later released on police bail pending further inquiries.
