Police plea over 'kidnapping'
DETECTIVES in Leeds are appealing for information about an alleged kidnapping at the Co-op Car Park, Town Street, Beeston. A man and a woman were walking towards the Co-op at about 7.15pm last Friday when they were approached by four men.
The woman was forced into what is believed to have been a white Ford Transit van and driven away. A 44-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, from Cheshire, have been charged with kidnap, and bailed at Leeds Magistrates' Court. The woman was uninjured.
