Points of light
The Vaxholm Boys Choir and York Ebor Singers sing Swedish carols in York Minster’s Nave as part of the Sankta Lucia Festival.
The atmospheric, candlelit procession and carol service is based on the Swedish Lucia celebration, which is a powerful symbol and celebration of light and one of the most significant traditions in its calendar. This year is the first time that the service has been held at York Minster in partnership with the York Anglo Scandinavian Society.
