Plan for 10 new homes given cautious welcome

Members of Leeds City Council’s north and east plans panel will agree to a series of conditions that will see 10 new homes built at Grange Farm, in Micklefield.

Outline planning permission had already been granted to the scheme last year on Great North Road.

The plans came back before the panel to agree details regarding the development.

A contribution of more than £28,000 could be made towards green space in the area and planners will also hear details about the site’s landscape, layout and scale. Members of the public submitted objections to the scheme with concerns about drainage.

Micklefield Parish Council said that they supported the application in principle but raised concerns about drainage and the appearance of the site.
