Woman in her 50s dies after crash between car and bus in Yorkshire

North Yorkshire Police were called to Huntington Road, near to the junction with Yearsley Grove, in York at around 9.50pm on Monday night (Nov 21). The crash happened between a Renault Clio, which was heading out of the city, and a bus which was heading into the city.

A statement from the force said: “The driver and sole occupant of the Clio, a woman in her 50s, was taken to hospital but sadly died a short time later. We would like to speak to anyone who either saw the black Clio prior to the collision and anyone who witnessed the incident but has not yet spoken to us. We would also like to hear from anyone who has any dashcam or doorbell footage of the Clio or bus travelling along Huntington Road.”
