The Leeds food businesses in new television show Big Money Munch from chicken wing joint to Jamaican-inspired grub

Three Leeds food sites are to feature in a new television show celebrating Black-owned eateries across the UK.

Big Money Munch will see radio DJ presenter Sian Anderson invite a different celebrity friend out for dinner in each episode.

Hopping on the Big Money Munch bus, Sian and the celebrity guest will go out for three meals, each one taking them to a different Black-owned eatery across one city.

They will then decide which owner or chef to surprise with a £10,000 prize for the business.

Leeds is among the cities covered in the series, alongside Bristol, London and Birmingham.

The celebrity guest joining Sian in the city will be Julie Adenuga, broadcaster and cultural creator.

The pair will head to Wing-A-Ding chicken wing joint, Delice D'Ivoire for West African food and Ryan’s Kitchen for Jamaican-inspired grub.

Big Money Munch is a co-production between Afro-Mic Productions and Motion Content Group for BET (UK).

It launches on My5 on May 18.
