Police appeal after man found with life-threatening head injuries on Boxing Day

Police are appealing to the public for help to work out how a man who was found in the street sustained serious head injuries.

Humberside Police were called to Paragon Street in Hull over a concern for the safety of a man at around 10pm on Boxing Day. He was found near the junction with Chariot Street with a serious head injury that is thought to be life-threatening.

The force is now asking the public for information which would help officers establish the circumstances around the incident.

A statement from Humberside Police said: “There is no wider risk to members of the public, and officers continue to patrol the area whilst carrying out enquiries and providing reassurance to the local community.“We are looking to establish how the man came by his injuries and are asking for anyone who saw anything that could help with our enquiries to contact us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 454 of 26 December.”
